Tammy Ochoa

Tammy grew up in Washington. She was an honor graduate from Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She taught in Wilkes County for six years and Cobb County for nine years.

Tammy has been a stay-at-home mom and military wife for the last fifteen years. This allowed for multiple moves to many places, including Korea. She and her husband, Luis, have four children.

Tammy’s grandfather was an Independent Agent for many years. As a young child, she spent a lot of time at his agency. One summer, she worked for his premium finance company. Tammy became licensed for Georgia Property and Casualty and joined the staff at Griggs Ficklen in June of 2018.

Outside of work, Tammy enjoys playing the piano, working out, and spending time with family.
